     How does coaching work?

As your coach, I  ask you to complete a series of thought-provoking questions
about where you are in your life, your values, dreams, and goals.  We discover
the direction you would like to take and how to get there through a series of
weekly conversations lasting from 30 to 40 minutes.  The agenda for the
conversations are driven by the client while I listen, probe, inquire and we
uncover valuable revelations necessary for your growth.  Together we set
weekly action plans and challenges to establish accountability and empower
you to move you forward in meeting your goals.

     How long does it take?

After an initial "intake session", coach and client engage in weekly telephone
conversations lasting 30 to 40 minutes.  The duration and frequency of the
calls can be tailored to meet the needs of the client.  Clients commit to a
minimum agreement of three months, with the option to extend services
through an ongoing, month to month basis.

How is coaching different from counseling or therapy?

In counseling or therapy, an individual may be diagnosed with a specific
disorder or problem.  Counseling or therapy attacks the specific problem with
strategies designed by the professional and prescribed to the client.  In
Co-Active Coaching, the coach assumes each individual to be naturally
creative,  resourceful and whole.  The client discovers his or her own
"answers" through the coaching process.  The result is success through self
discovery, accountability and motivation to accomplish meaningful goals
derived by the client.  Coaching helps you create the life you truly want.
